The Warsaw Ghetto Museum invites you to the second Warsaw walk this year!
This time, we will visit the so-called Little Ghetto, described in "Diary from the Warsaw Ghetto" by Mary Berg, a Polish Jew who lived with her family at 41 Sienna Street during the occupation. Growing up in the Warsaw Ghetto became the main theme of her memoir, published in the United States in 1945 and the first English-language publication about the Warsaw Ghetto. During the upcoming walk, we will compare the places Mary Berg describes with the contemporary landscape of Warsaw and consider the specifics of perceiving the Holocaust through the eyes of a teenager.
The walk will take place on Sunday, July 18th. It will begin at 12:00 noon in the courtyard of the former Bersohn and Bauman Hospital in Warsaw (Sienna Street 60). The walk will be led by guide Agnieszka Kuś. Participation is free.
See you soon!
