81st anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

On April 19, 1943, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising broke out – the largest armed act of resistance by the Jewish population. At 12:00 noon, ceremonies commemorating the fighters and civilians, heroes of the heroic uprising, were held at the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes in Warsaw.
