Collections Digitization Specialist

Responsibilities:

• coordination of the digitization of monuments from the Museum's collection;
• cooperation in designing a digitization workshop at the target location of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, including verification/updating the demand for equipment necessary to carry out statutory activities in the above-mentioned scope;
• post-production of digital representations;
• filing files in accordance with adopted guidelines;
• supplementing inventory cards with prepared multimedia;
• preparing current photographic working documentation for the Collections Department;
• organization and coordination of the digitization of collections in cooperation with external contractors, including: preparing a list of monuments, developing guidelines for contracts, concluding contracts, and accepting completed services;
• preparing periodic studies and statistics on digitized monuments for the purposes of reports on the Museum's activities.

Our requirements :

• higher education;
• ability to use graphic processing programs from the Adobe suite: Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator;
• knowledge of guidelines for the digitization of museum collections;
• at least 2 years of experience in a similar job;
• knowledge of English, both spoken and written, at least at B2 level.

Monthly rate: PLN 5000-7000 gross

Welcome:

• knowledge of the MUZA collection inventory system or similar;
• ability to use Canva.
