"Lubczyński conscripted my mother and father into the Home Army," says Tadeusz Belerski (born 1947), son of Holocaust survivors Matylda and Icek Majer Beller. His parents, who hailed from near Lviv, owe their lives to their father's friend, Home Army officer Stanisław Lubczyński, who—with the consent of the General Headquarters—managed to save several dozen Jews by obtaining so-called Aryan documents, extracting them from labor camps, or providing them with shelter.
We invite you to a series of film interviews, produced as part of the "Niepodległa" Multiannual Program for 2017-2022, in cooperation with the World Association of Home Army Soldiers. Resistance activists, including underground soldiers and Scouts, as well as Holocaust survivors, shared their memories of the occupation and the years preceding the war.

The series of 30 interviews was prepared by the Education Department and is part of the #MGWonline initiative. The project was financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
