The former Bersohn-Bauman Hospital is gradually regaining its historic character. Careful finishing and conservation work has respectfully combined the complex's past with modern architectural solutions.
- Work on the facades – Facade work has been underway on the historic main building and the administrative building. Simultaneously, facades, metalwork, and balustrades are being installed on the ground floor, gradually giving the buildings their final appearance.
- Interior design – GRC composite cladding is being installed in the entrance areas and on selected passageways. It will be a distinctive feature of the new headquarters.
- Historical details – Interior structures and ceilings are being constructed, but the traditional terrazzo floors are drawing particular attention. They are a nod to the history of this place and will distinguish both the exhibition and public spaces.
- Conservation work – in the former hospital section, we are committed to preserving the authentic historic fabric, including through the careful renovation of the historic staircase balustrades.
- The surroundings of the complex – on the side of Sienna Street, the final communication routes and fencing are being constructed, as well as technical infrastructure (including a water connection).
The investment is taking its final shape – architecturally and functionally. The space is being systematically prepared to accommodate the permanent exhibition elements.
