June 2026 was another intense month for the construction of the new home of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. Construction work was underway simultaneously in many areas of the building, with installations being installed and exhibition spaces being prepared .
The activities included primarily:
- Coordination of finishing and installation works.
- Preparation technological infrastructure and equipment elements that will be gradually installed in the facility in the near future.
- Continuation of design work on the details of the scenography, display cases and audiovisual equipment that will be part of the permanent exhibition.
The historic buildings of the former Bersohn and Bauman Children's Hospital at 51 Śliska Street/60 Sienna Street were adapted for the Museum's purposes. The project combines the preservation of historical heritage with the use of modern technological and educational solutions. The emerging Museum will be a modern institution of remembrance, education, and social dialogue, whose mission is to commemorate the history of the Warsaw Ghetto and its inhabitants.
The investment remains one of the most important cultural projects currently underway in Warsaw.
We are facing further construction, installation and furnishing work, which brings us step by step closer to opening the museum to visitors.
