Walking Tour of the Archaelogical Excavations | Pictures
Here are the pictures from the walking tour of the archaelogical excavation next to the bunker at Miła 18 which took place on Sunday, September 25. Thank you for your interest!
The tour in English started with a short walk around a part of Muranow, the former Jewish district of Warsaw. The participants learnt about Jewish life in Poland during the German occupation, the resistance and the 1943 uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto. The main focus was put on the excavation around Miła street where the so called Anieliewicz bunker was situated. The guide, archeologist Alan Gough, who also took part in the excavations, shared his stories about the excavation process and showed pictures of the artifacts found during the archeological works.
