Training for teachers and educators
The Education Department of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum invites you to a three-day, free of charge training for teachers and educators from 25 to 27 October.
The first part of the training will take place on Friday 25 October in the Austrian Cultural Forum at 7/9 Próżna Street and it will concern the Warsaw ghetto. The participants will be presented with the WGM’s educational, and then they will listen to a lecture by Dr Hanna Węgrzynek, the WGM’s Deputy Director for Scientific and Exhibition matters, they will take part in the workshops run by Dr Wiesława Młynarczyk, the Chief Education Specialist and in a stroll walk around the Warsaw ghetto, which will be led by Jagna Kofta from the WGM’s Education Department. On this day, the teachers and educators will also visit POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Jewish Historical Institute.
On Saturday, 26 October, the participants will visit the Treblinka Museum. In the evening, they will travel to a hostel in Lublin. On Sunday, they will visit the State Museum at Majdanek, where they will listen to a lecture given by an employee of the scientific department of this Museum and will be presented with an educational offer and will participate in workshops.
The WGM ensures travel on the route Warsaw – Treblinka – Lublin – Majdanek – Warsaw, accommodation in Warsaw and Lublin, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
