31 August 2020

The open-air exhibition “Every third of us”, located at Grzybowski Square, was presented again by its curator, Rafał Kosewski and Dr Jacek Konik. The exhibition presents the most important historical events in the history of the Warsaw Ghetto as well as everyday problems of the imprisoned people. Over 70 archival photographs on 20 boards were prepared on the occasion of two anniversaries – the 77th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the 80th anniversary of the closure of the Warsaw Ghetto – 16 November 2020.

Several opinions of visitors to the exhibition (from the Facebook page of the institution):

“The exhibition is arranged in a very professional way – very interesting, factual photo descriptions… very poignant pictures… I really liked the picture of the crowd at the crossroads in the ghetto and the picture from the market… such a normal everyday life, but we know what kind of hell these people were going through back then…”

“Well shown and told.”

“It is worth to see the exhibition and read many tragic but true pieces of information.”

The exhibition is available at Grzybowski Square until 30 November 2020.
