Educational Walk with The Jewish Agency for Israel

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the Warsaw Ghetto Museum has been supporting refugees from Ukraine. On Sunday, June 22, Masha Makarova from the MGW Education Department led an educational walk for Jewish children and youth under the care of The Jewish Agency for Israel in Warsaw. This time, the youngest participants explored Warsaw’s Old Town and traces of Jewish history beyond the walls of the former ghetto. After previous walks through the area of the former ghetto with older participants, it was time for the youngest members of the program to discover the Old Town and talk about the history of Warsaw and the traces of Jewish presence beyond the walls of the Old City.

This is an important and moving experience for us – we are glad we can support young people in such a difficult time.
