Study visit to the Central Prisoners of War Museum and the Gross-Rosen Museum

On May 14-15, a group of employees of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum went on a study visit to the Central Prisoners of War Museum in Łambinowice (Lambsdorf) and the Gross-Rosen Museum in Rogoźnica.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences related to the presentation of difficult topics and education about the experience of war.
Both museums we visited address issues similar to those faced by the MGW: war, forced labor, and genocide. Like the MGW, they are museums—places of memory.

Through meetings with management and staff, we learned about the challenges facing the institutions and how to build narratives for the exhibitions presented. Each study visit provides an opportunity to hone the team's skills, compare existing solutions, and leverage the experience of institutions established over many years.
