On Friday, February 7th, we had the great honor of welcoming Mr. Aaron Sagui, a special guest from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and currently working in the European Department, to the construction site of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. He was accompanied by Ms. Ewa Rudnik-Zawiłło, Director of the Office of the Israeli Ambassador to Poland.
Director Albert Stankowski guided guests around the construction site and the historic building of the former Bersohn and Bauman Children's Hospital. Mr. Aaron Sagui had the opportunity to see the progress of construction, including the underground structures under construction, the first floors of the administrative and office building, and the technical building. Director Albert Stankowski also spoke to the guests about the modern educational space under construction, dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the history of the Jewish community in Poland.
Mr. Aaron Sagui expressed his deep appreciation for the high quality of the projects carried out by the Museum team and emphasized the importance of this undertaking, which will be crucial in the education of future generations.
We are convinced that the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, as a place of remembrance and education, will be invaluable in preserving history and recalling tragic events, connecting people from around the world. Thank you for visiting.
