On October 21, students of the Technical School of Stenotyping and Foreign Languages No. 29 on Ogrodowa Street went on a walk around the former Warsaw Ghetto together with Masza Makarova from the Education Department of the Warsaw Ghetto University.
Participants learned about the history of the street where their technical school is located and the nearby Municipal Courts building. They also visited the former small ghetto and listened to the stories of its streets and inhabitants. Thank you all for participating!
We invite schools to free educational walks around the former Warsaw Ghetto (starting in 8th grade). This is a great way to supplement school reading about World War II and learn about the history of Warsaw. Registration is accepted by email at Edukacjamgw@1943.pl.
