In February, work on the construction of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum continued unabated. The work moved primarily to the building's interior, where crews installed electrical and plumbing systems in the underground levels.
By the end of the month, the weather had improved, allowing work to resume outdoors. Installation of the façade of the office and administration building resumed. The addition of new façade elements has significantly transformed the entire complex, attracting the attention of passersby and increasingly blending into the historic surroundings of the former hospital buildings. The first results of the finishing work are also visible inside. New terrazzo floors inspired by historical patterns are being installed.
Roof coverings have already appeared on historic buildings, and windows recreated based on historical patterns have been installed on most facades.
We have months of intense work ahead of us, bringing visible changes and interesting solutions. We invite you to follow our progress—we're still going strong in March.
