To mark the 81st anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, we are opening the excavation site to the public for three days (April 19, 20, and 21). In June 2022, the Warsaw Ghetto Museum began archaeological excavations at the intersection of Miła and Dubois Streets. The basements of 19th-century tenement houses were uncovered, which during the Ghetto Uprising were most likely part of a shelter known as the "Anielewicz Bunker."
