On Saturday, August 12th, the Jewish Culture Festival in Lublin hosted a screening of the documentary film "Two Flags," co-produced by the Warsaw Ghetto Museum. Until August 28th, you can view the exhibition "The Synagogue in Grodzisk" at the Mediateka center in Grodzisk Mazowiecki as part of the 4th edition of the local Jewish Culture Festival. Lecture by Dr. Wiesława Młynarczyk at the Jewish Culture Festival in Lublin
On Friday, August 11, Dr. Wiesława Młynarczyk from the Education Department of the Jewish Museum in Lublin delivered a lecture entitled "Jewish Life in Postwar Poland" during the Jewish Culture Festival in Lublin. The lecture concisely presented the lives of survivors who identified with Jewish tradition and culture and who attempted to rebuild Yiddish culture from the ashes. From scratch, they rebuilt editorial offices, publishing houses, Yiddish language schools, and theaters, where performances based on plays by pre-war Yiddish classics were performed.
