On October 21st, ceremonies commemorating the 80th anniversary of the extermination of the Piotrków Trybunalski Ghetto were held. Dr. Halina Postek, Head of the Education Department at the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, participated in the event. The ceremony commemorating the ghetto victims began at the Jewish cemetery on Spacerowa Street. On October 23rd, the General Assembly of Delegates of the Social and Cultural Society of Jews in Poland (TSKŻ) held its Annual General Meeting, during which the new leadership of the TSKŻ was elected. Albert Stankowski, director of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, was once again among the organization's Board members. TSKŻ is the oldest continuously operating Jewish organization in Poland.
