Baruch Spigel (1919–2013)

A hero of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, he participated in the Warsaw Uprising. Born Bronek Szpigel in 1919, he found himself in the Warsaw Ghetto after the outbreak of World War II, where he became involved in the resistance movement. He fought in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, during which he detonated one of two mines held by the fighters in Nowolipie.
