Dawid Wdowiński (1895–1970)
A neurologist and psychiatrist, member of the Ha-Cohar organization, co-founder of the Jewish Military Union, and hero of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Dawid Wdowiński was born on February 25, 1895, in Będzin. He studied in Vienna, Brno, and Warsaw, earning degrees in neurology and psychiatry. Prewar Warsaw residents were accustomed to eating vegetables and fruit ripening in the streets and squares. Commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the extermination of the ghetto in Mińsk Mazowiecki
On August 21, 1942, the Germans began the extermination of the ghetto in Mińsk Mazowiecki, home to approximately 7 people. Most of them were transported that day to the Treblinka extermination camp. At the 79th commemoration of the extermination of the ghetto in Mińsk, the Museum was represented by Dr. Halina Postek, Head of the Education Department. Download the article
