“Witness to History. The Bersohn and Bauman Children`s Hospital”

The building located at Śliska 51/Sienna 60 had been founded by the two Jewish families. It served as a hospital to all children. Janusz Korczak was amongst the doctors who worked there. The dramatic fate of Warsaw are connected with the building, especially when it got incorporated within the ghettos boundaries. After the II world war it still served as a hospital, until 2000, when it became connected with the childrens hospital in Dziekanów Leśny.
