MGW time capsule

On April 18, in the garden of the former Bersohn and Bauman Hospital, a ceremonial ceremony took place to place a time capsule in the ground, which is intended to pass on knowledge about the Museum to future generations.

The burial of the time capsule is also intended to symbolically initiate the construction of the physical headquarters of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, which will be located in the former Bersohn and Bauman Hospital building.

The Warsaw Ghetto Museum time capsule includes, among others: the act of establishment of the Museum and its current statute, the first architectural sketches of the future museum building, a message from the Museum Council, souvenirs from donors and special guests, and a flash drive with recordings of people who played an important role in the development of the institution – including Marian Turski and Zofia Majewska , as well as an interview with the Director of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, Albert Stankowski.
